No, but it will be a collectors item and really expensive in a few years.
I would buy that even if I did not have a Z3.
seriously.

What happens when it rains? Fine for California, but useless for the UK! Like ost 'Collector's Items' it is pretty useless.

Well… 33 million people are California residents, so maybe there is a market for this…

Couple of people have them on here. Actually two types of these speedster covers, the other type has a higher arch. (Roll hoop non roll hoop etc)

Three, at least there was a few years ago.
Someone on eBay.com was selling one type that split in the middle, so you could put it in the boot in 2 sections. Looked very well made in the pics, the join was near invisible. Whether they clipped together, overlapped, or whatever I’ve no idea. 400 ish US$ I think.

Looks like these are being produced by a company in the States who make various fibre glass panels for Porsche, BMW, M/Benz etc copying OEM patterns.
It states that these Z3 & Porsche Roadster Covers are hinged in the middle so they can be removed for storage in the boot.
They look quite good and if you can still have hood underneath then still fairly practical.

I like the look, but I just dropped a few hundred on a leather tonneau cover last summer. Plus the hassle/cost of getting it painted would be a hindrence. I imagine, unless you have the skills to paint yourself, that the final cost would be over $1,000.

It looks cool in that photo but the other on the ebay advert don't seem to look right imo. The guys in China who did the chopped z3 works better. This just looks a little clumsy to me

Yes. Much better. Why did they chop the A pillar though? It would be much better with it… but then it wouldn't be a manly way to die slammed under a truck…

I agree, I guess it would need a Q plate in the UK now. The sleekness of the speedster humps are right though, but at the sacrifice of the roof. I do think it's a pretty cool build. A fair bit of fabrication skills went into it

According to RealOEM, the original (BMW) speedster cover cost $1624.00 — the price above is certainly better. But, I agree with @Zephyr that the overall look is not quite right...

'Take it off' - yes, but where do you put it?

The answer is probably that by the time you have removed the cover you are soaked through, and so fed up with the useless if fashionable thing that you just leave it by the roadside for the next fashion-concious mug . . .

I quite like it, but sadly for some reason, they do not ship to Australia...If they did, I would buy one...
