The kick panel speakers are fairly easy, my 98 2.8 5 speed uses a 6.5 inch.
The upper door midrange and tweeter for lack of a better description require OEM speakers or a guy / gal that has some experience with speaker installation because there are no direct replacements that I know of.
I used some Pioneer i inch soft dome for the tweeter and have not gone back for the tiny mids yet.

Cheers for that - the tweeters are fine its just the behind seat and kick panel that are going especially at higher volume with the top down

I disconnected my rear speakers, they are too loud and not in a good spot for proper imaging and sound (IMHO).
Volume with the top down requires power and is not something I never wanted to achieve since it's impossible to achieve proper balanced sound in a convertible. Your better off with headphones or other focused direct devices.
