I have 4 (2 pairs) of hub centric 12mm spacers made by TPI. I don’t have the extended bolts though as I bought them from a owner of a bmw with different thread spacing bolts

If interested we could discuss price etc

Hi Dave
I intend to fit 20mm so don’t understand how 4pairs of 12 mm could be used instead ? Geoff

Hiya,

That was not my suggestion. If anyone wanted 12mm i have some. Good luck with the 20mm spacing.

Hi Steve
Hows it going ?
The 3.0 that I bought in August is all sorted and going well and thinking that it would look better with spacers on the back my wheels are 16" so do you think that the ones that you have fitted are worth the extra cash ?
Regards

Geoff
Hi Geoff,
Well I'm very happy with them. They are obviously quality kit and I like the way that the spacers stay bolted to the hubs when you removed the wheels. To be fair though, I haven't tried others so can't really make any comparisons.

Steve.

I've found mine stay fixed to the hub when I remove the wheel. Too well in fact, I had to get a very thin blade between the spacer and the hub to get them off to adjust the handbrake. Refitted with a light smear of copper grease ;)

Generally the hubcentric type spacers which utilise longer wheel bolts don't/aren't designed to, stay on. It's just they're a tight fit and they cling to the hub. You can drill through them and fix them to the hub using the screw which fastens the disc onto the hub but usually you have to do this yourself. I find just the opposite thing in that mine tend to stick in the wheels so when I change from winter to summer wheels I have to make sure the spacer hasn't remained in the wheel that's come off.
Even if they are a loose fit you can make wheel fitting easy by making a long stud to temporarily insert into one of the wheel bolt holes, slide the wheel on using the stud to support the wheel while you insert the other 4 bolts. Simply unscrew the stud and refit the last wheel bolt.

I actually like these wheels also like to keep mine as original as possible .
Any idea how much 15mms rear spacers are ? I have 225 tyres so fairly wide tyre for 16"
go to my media and you can see a before spacer and after 15mm spacer. it also is a 225 tire but on a 17" x 8.5"

I bought mine while on holiday in Florida and paid less than half of that for a set (20 and 14).
