Hi all,

I would be grateful if anyone could recommend some spacers for my style 35 wheels. Pic below.
I would like to add these to fill the arches a little, will look to drop it later in the year too but as spacers are a simple task i might just crack on with this first.
As you can see i have 16" standard 35 wheels, please don't suggest swapping these out because i actually like them and i prefer the chubby look of the meaty tires.
I am thinking 15 or 20mm for the rears, whats the common thinking for this type of wheel?
Secondly. Fronts, yes or no and size?

I am assuming its just plug and play with these and no need to check alignment and stuff?

Thank you for your advice, any links to the right products would be appreciated too.

Easiest way to work out what you can fit is use a striaght edge to the floor and measure back to the rim edge this will give you a measurement to flush.
i would go hubcentric ...2 types bolt on to the car and bolt the wheel to the spacer or longer bolts and bolt straight back on.
I have used the longer bolt ones with out any issue @20mm @Bozzy is running them on his 2.8 at the moment and has tracked the car so are more than up to the job, its just working out what room you have.

Thanks guys, i checked and it looks like 20mm easily. Fronts are not far from flush so 10mm max there. Will prob just do the rears and see how it looks first.

I put 12mm on the rear only. Agree with the 16" wheels comment.

I had 20mm on the rear and 14mm on the front of my Z3 on 17" wheels, lowered 30mm. I removed these when I got my Z4 and now use them on it, with both 18" summer and 17" winter wheels also lowered 30mm (total, was on sport susp. from factory)

Tony.

I can recommend these for the rear:

Eibach are more expensive but these are really nice quality hub centric and stay in place when you take the wheel off.
Hi Steve
Hows it going ?
The 3.0 that I bought in August is all sorted and going well and thinking that it would look better with spacers on the back my wheels are 16" so do you think that the ones that you have fitted are worth the extra cash ?
Regards

Geoff

Much better, I'd stick
some 10s on the front ;)
Thinking of putting 20s on mine but it has the sports suspension and sits a lot lower than my std. 1.9 so if I fit 20s will the tyres miss touching wheel arches ?

Short answer, yes.

I fitted 20mm on the back of both mine, both sports models, with no problems;)

I actually like these wheels also like to keep mine as original as possible .
Any idea how much 15mms rear spacers are ? I have 225 tyres so fairly wide tyre for 16"
