I'll be making up for missing today's wonderful meet - it looks like everyone had a great day - while everyone was eating bacon butties courtesy of BMW and generally having a great time, I was painting the bathroom ceiling and scrabbling around in the loft for 90 minutes trying to get the lights to work again after I had changed to LEDs. Lots of sympathy please!!!
I certainly hope to have some different views - have never been to this part of the UK before.
 
Thanks for a great event and great to see a load of familiar faces and a load of new ones too. I had to endure the delights of the M25 to get back to derbyshire and arrived home at.....8pm!

My boy was great on the journey and is begging to come on more "BMW days".

I loved the final leg of the tour when it seemed two of the groups came together into a massive Zed conga line. I couldn't stop looking around and checking my mirrors to see it. What a sight to behold. I must have looked a complete pollock driving along (in a few from inconspicuous car) with the biggest stupidest grin on my chops!

Highlight of my drive back was a black Jaguar F-Type R pulling alongside me, pausing to stare at the my car, nodding and giving a big thumbs up before dropping back in behind me. My worst part was a guy in a new 320D rubber necking to gawp at the car so hard he changed into my lane and nearly ended us both! Buffoon.

Just arrived home (detoured to MK to visit daughter) phew absolutely shattered but had a fantastic weekend. :thankyou: to Paul and Gary for organising everything and Barrie and Jan for their hospitality on Sat night. It was great to meet old and new friends, didn't get a chance to speak to everyone I blame that damn Z5 :whistle: next time I'll hopefully be more mobile :) . Looking forward to next year already :)

Look again....you'll see him at the first stop entertaining people with one of his many stories! :thumbsup:

It might only be a thumbnail in my post but he's definitely there!!!
 
@Gail, @t-tony is probably still a bit jet lagged after his flight! I'm sure he would have caught it on second third or fourth check! lol. What are you doing up so late my girl? Still on vacation? JIM
