Write Up South Downs Annual Run - 30 Sept 2018

Great morning/afternoon out on the Zed run. I had a great time and met some likeminded people today. Sorry I couldn’t do the 2nd run, I had to get back home and pick my son up from a play day.
Hopefully see you all again soon. Scott.

Linda and I had a fantastic weekend. Big thanks to Paul for his organisation of the routes and pubs. Also thanks to @Shortie_gal for Saturday night. Thanks also to BMW and Goodwood for their hospitality. It was great to see Roger and the Dutch contingent, who helped make it a memorable cruise. A little clip of Goodwood, when planes and Zeds nearly met. :nailbiting:

That plane landing was a real WTF moment, threw me off my racing lines completely, that’s my excuse for a slow time ;)

Thanks to @Mr C for leading a spirited run down to Goodwood.

Sorry couild not do part 2, had to go back to BMW Farnbnourogh to find £ 700 worth of fishing rods that i had left next to a hedge.:eek:
Took them out the car so two loverly Dutch ladies could get a sit in the car for a photo.

Looks like you had one awesome day. Some exceptional photos too :thumbsup:

@Redline , our friendly photographer came along and had taken over 250 photos by the time we sat down for some food. I am looking forward to his photos as he was sat in the back of the BMW X5 pace car hanging out the boot. I will be putting a few up and linking to the rest when he has sorted them. Should be an interesting selection.

Fraid not. Wish I had been though. I spent all day trying to fix the latch on the gate. A small job that turned into a marathon :mad:

There are some cracking photos already. Hope he was tethered in. I had wondered how the rollers are always top notch!

@Rally and Becci his partner normally hang out of the car..

This time Harry was wedged in the boot of the X5... so we shall see what he produces. He's a professional motorsport photographer by trade and is such a great friend to a lot on the forum and locally. Just loves the fun we all have and really enjoys the days out.

@N4LLY

=)) I wondered where they had disappeared to. One of the Dutch ladies was admiring your car, and I told her it came with built in fishing rods, which weren't there when we looked in. :banghead:
