Had a nice roof down run along the coast to Dorset today and let the car ‘ stretch its legs’ on the M27

And called in on @Alan Slade and Maxine on the way back

Nice to have a catch up as its been a while……and I was given gifts:):):):)

these lovely shiny Original BMW calliper springs

not sure now whether to put them on the 2.8 or 1.9……

Wont be too many more warm days to have a run like that this year:arghh:

Wouldn't suit my "dechromed" look - far too shiny for me!!

It’s a good job we are not all the same. Chrome won’t be terminal they probably will rust in time. The platers do Matt chrome if it helps, it’s a good surface for Hammerite. 😂

Z3 with a bit of bling if dark colour looks real nice. Too much black is boring on the older cars. Manufacturers have gone with the latest fad weather it lasts all depends on what owners like best. Can't keep up with the youngsters fashion these days, must admit chrome is a bit outdated now with the rust look getting ever popular. Maybe they're playing right into our hands and we should leave the Zs out to rust then clear coat, lmao "jobs a good en" All you need is paint stripper and Brit weather, if it's not a keeper don't need the clear coat.

That's an idea! Don't think I have seen a Z3 given this "treatment". Needs an immaculate engine bay, wheels and interior though. :)

I would be highly disappointed seeing a Z at this state. Actually I would start a fight with the owner.
i know, his money, his car… but turning a beautiful Z into such a state is totally disrespectful to it. They do not deserve such an ill fate.
but again, to some, its just a car… and their money also…
