Managed to snap this shot before I put the roof up :snaphappy:.
It's a beautiful area for an autumn drive with a real good mix of good driving roads and nice back roads off the beaten track. We even came across a water ford :)

Didn't take many pics, was too busy enjoying the drive .
Headed over towards Market Harborough and then down to Rutland Water for another cuppa before heading home.

Had a great afternoon on some roads I hadn't been on before and Sara got to try out her new hat and neck tube/warmer

It is a lovely area Gary, well worth a visit if you're in that neck of the woods.
Tried to find the same cafe there where @Gail organised a meet earlier this year,I think there are several along there though.

Great photos @Bozzy :p
The first one is great ;)

Went on a trip round the Vale of Belvoir some years ago with the MX5 Club when I had an MX5. Very pleasant roads and countryside plus a pretty village coffee stop then later a very good Sunday lunch in another village. There were only about 15 so the sit down meal was easy to arrange I suppose.

Yes there are several....we met up by the cafe at Whitwell and then drove around to the other side so people could walk down to the church.

Great pics Steve but why didn't you call. I've been tidying the garden but would have preffered to take the Zed out;)

We.... me and Angelina... my other half had a nice day out yesterday... roof up for first half of the day as it was a bit chilly... she wanted to go to pontypool park to kick about in the crunchy fallen leaves... there was not a lot of them, just damp soggy ones.. anyway we went around there and up to the Ski centre, and then went to matalan newport !!!!!! :-( .... and down to newport goldcliff... took the roof down while in matalan, and had roof down until we got home stopped in usk for some well deserved chips and cod bites.. got a bit cold on the way home... good excuse to get the dual trapper hats on.. and look like idiots...

Sorry Dave it was a last minute thing, didn't leave till half eleven and we had to be home by five as we were going out in the evening.
But we have put together a fab route and I recon you and Pauline would enjoy it. There's a little ford,a little tunnel and some hump back bridges not to mention the scenery :).
How you fixed for next weekend ?.

Steve

Yeha, yes yes yes. Do you have a preferred day or shall we wait to see what the weather is doing?:thumbsup::thumbsup:
