Hey guys!

Got a 97 Z3 1.9 with a G250 Getrag which will be getting a M54B30 swap this year.

Currently doing a RockAuto parts order and I notice they do a VALEO Solid Flywheel kit under the 330CI category

I am gonna stay with the G250 as it is a stance/cruiser car and I have a few mates that have NIL issues with a B30/G250 when not being abused.

I am just wondering if the VALEO 52401220 kit will work with a B30/G250 setup?

Cheers guys

Assuming from the Rockauto reference you’re in the States, it would be cheaper to get a lightened flywheel with an M3 240mm clutch. That has the same 10 spline fitting as the Getrag. It’s also the same as the 325 5 speeds. EBay is polluted with the things.
This is the one I went for:

Though there are lots of others, either on their own, or as kits. The M3 cover is used on 5 and 7 series, so if buying separately then a 5, or 7, series clutch is usually a lot cheaper than an M3. I can supply the number in a couple days if needed, all the bits are away being balanced as I’m fitting the flywheel to a 1.9 crankshaft.
