Yes, but it would have to be after Christmas/ new year. Would it fit on an 8x4 trailer, or an estate car roof rack?

I’ve had a couple of people strap bonnets to roof racks and been fine, one drove to Germany like that.

I'd use a big van myself but a good roof rack and straps could be OK.

What condition are the grills? are they available separately ?

I think one of them is loose so probably has a broken retaining tang as per.

why not drive down with the Z3, swap the bonnets over , and cut the old one up with a grinder until it fits in the boot?
That is of course if the old bonnet is a scrapper.
