I’ve had the soft top permanently down for the last four years.

My intention is to give the fabric a clean and restore with Renovo 3-part restoration system.

I was expecting a lot of debris and a dirty soft top to appear as I raised the roof but to my surprise both soft top and plastic window were spotless from the day I lowered the roof four years back.

The rear plastic window was rolled in a piece of tubing and a fleece folded around it, hood lowered and another piece of fleece placed on top of the lowered hood - then Tonneau cover secured.

Not sure now whether I need to restore the hood

If it ain’t broke...

My soft top was similar. Previous owner had a hardtop on for five years. That’s a pretty significant chunk of its lifetime being sheltered from the elements and thus still looks tip top considering it’s age.

I reckon quick hoover and waterproof and then out to enjoy the sun:coolsteer)

Sounds like you don't need to do the full 3 part Renovo restoration, which is good news. Mind you, Renovo is good stuff. I used it on a fairly scuffed mohair hood on aTR7 I owned years ago and was amazed at the results.
