I have been at home 24 hours a day for a week, and today I had to go out and join the Tesco Conga line snaking round the car park for an hour ( with all the other old people) to stock up.

I went out at 8.45 and got home by about 10.30 and when I got home found this

So its either a new multimeter that I need to check some wiring or its brake fluid to get the brakes finished.....whatever it is now wont be redelivered till next week sometime.:arghh::arghh::banghead:

That’s always the way :(

Can’t even leave it with a neighbour either :(

Mazza, I recommend that you don't go to the supermarket early morning. For the last two weeks we have been going at lunchtime. Haven't queued for more than 5 minutes and the shop has been well stocked. The only thing we still can't get is flour.

Flour???? What’s that for????

Went home yesterday, just to check for mail, and there's a parcel sitting on the doorstep. Glad I went home, then. This being Nefyn there's not too many dodgy types around, but just sat on the doorstep?
Bonkers!
Where are you then if not at home? Hope you are staying safe.

This is how they deliver parcels in Osceola County (can't speak for others) in Florida. Every Christmas time they show doorbell videos of scum driving round and helping themselves bold as brass.

In Aberdaron. I took a friend to Gwalchmai a couple of weeks ago to bring her horse back to Nefyn, just in case there wound up being some kind of travel ban. A few days later she woke up feeling bad, so I've moved down here, luckily she's got a spare house next to hers, normally full of happy tourists, but there don't seem to be any just now. Makes it nearly a 50 miles round-trip to get to Asda in Pwllheli and to my place in Nefyn, but that's life at the moment. Do wish I'd taken the hardtop off before I moved here, wasting valuable sunshine.

A spare house?!? =)) My! That’s good! =))
I wouldn’t worry about the hardtop: not much travelling = no call to be driving only for essentials.
You stay safe :)

Good news .......two parcels turned up this morning.
Brake fluid and new multimeter ( which has a temp probe as well, which I didnt realise when I ordered it)

But sods law still prevailed........I was in the shower and had to get out and answer the door. I dont know if the girlie postie had backed off to the drive because of the virus, or because of me in just a towel =))=))

Been buying flour from a farm shop we often use - Buying from a supermarket is a lottery. One of the things to fly off the shelf after over-night re-stocking.
