Oh, I could ejnoy a day or two in my Triumph Bonneville T120; or to be fair, my BMW R1110S with Randy Mamola livery. Except for the fact that the wife didn't like bikes, so they are both gone…

I knew that would come in handy one day.

What a gorgeous view!

Tony.

That comes for free round here. What you can't see to the right of the bike is the table covered in food and the chairs around it, the joy of beach-huts. And since this is only Nefyn, and not Abersoch (Cheshire-on-sea, full of orange women in unnecessary 4x4s) the prices are entirely reasonable.

Both nice views IMHO, .....sadly had to sell my bike but you live in a wonderful part of the world. As a child I was "treated" to a stay in Llanbedrog ...and of course was totally unspoilt. Made the mistake in 2019 of going back....couldn't recognise the place nor the small bungalow my parents used to rent. 😭

Whereas Abersoch is full of folk from the area around Manchester Airport ( Ringway ) I found Nefyn to be full of people from around Speke Airport.
But yes it's a lot cheaper at Nefyn. Both areas are in serious need of some well paying employment.

I understand Black Rock Beach will be busy next Tuesday, another Transformer delivery.

I stayed at an hotel (called Bryn Mor in those days) in Dinas Dinlle (just along the coast from Nefyn, in 1961 with my parents. Going for a swim before breakfast just across the road from the hotel was pure delight. Swimming back towards the shore the backdrop of the mountains was exquisite.
There was a girl staying in the guest house next door with whom I explored the derelict wartime buildings left behind at the disused airfield along the road while our respective parents toured around the area. Barbara, for it was she, was from Billericay in Essex. She now lives in Canada I believe.
I have been back to the area several times since but not for about fifteen years. I envy Nefyn cat, the Lleyn peninsula is an idyllic place.

There's something missing from the back of that bike. Needs a luggage rack for all the :baa:baa. Stereotypes, eh?
