You can kick that Fiery Ball our way if you want, I really don't know why we bother with ragtops here in the UK Wet Wet Wet. Welcome to the forum and keep on top of that lovely colored (American Spelling) Zed.

Haha! Yeah, I name my cats but have yet to come up with one for her yet. The 325i is Greta, and the Disco is Henrietta. I’m sure she’ll name herself soon enough though and you’ll never her me oust myself as a compete ‘Mercian again by saying zed. ;-)

Hi and welcome from Surrey, Great choice of Zed. I have a 3.0 but 119000 miles on the clock. I would love to do the west coast route, I have been to Seattle. a few times when I was working and seen a lot of Florida with a rented Mustang. I have also seen the everglades and out to Key West from a Piper Cherokee. :welcome:

That’s awesome! Seattle is such a beautiful city. I LOVE Piper planes! So much so I bought one about 5 years ago. Mine is a PA28R180 (piper arrow). Great plane but I’ve been having a jonesing for a Vans RV8 for a while now. Alas they are expensive and I’ll need to develop more equity in Annabelle (the arrow) before I ever truly entertain the idea for real.

I once read in another forum that if people would quit driving their zeds and stop racking up the miles on them that they would stand a chance of become a collectors car, but personally I couldn’t imagine ever buying a car just to look at. Expecially one like this. She begs me to take her out every time I look at her.

That’s awesome! Where do you like to go skiing at usually, Park City UT? I grew up in a mountain resort town called Big Bear California. The cool thing when you’re a kid was to go skiing/snowboarding after class, but those of us who could not afford to buy seasons lift passes, we got jobs at the local resort. By the time I grew up and left the mountains I had instructed for 3 years and hosted for 2. To this day I consider being a ski host the best job I ever had.

A nice aeroplane, the company I used to work for had a 1968 PA 180 which I used to use but in Florida it was a holiday with Pilots Paradise.
I also helped a friend build an RV9. :)

PC - no spent enough time over there , more the front side of the Wasatch - LCC / BCC. But this year as well, heading up to WY, MT and ID :)
I could agree about the ski hosting job - meeting folks and being on the slopes - whats not to like ?

Hi and :welcome: from Warwickshire to the growing tribe of Zed and Landy owners

It seems it's a perfect combination of cars - a number of forum members have both.
