Does anyone have any for sale?
I guess it depends what you call expensive. But these are £15 ea from BMW.I don’t, but they are inexpensive from BMW. I will be looking to add a couple to my just in case parts bin.
I believe part number is 51718401844.
Ouch!!I had a washer replaced by my garage during the week and it cost £60: pounds
It was because they didn’t know what was leaking and by the time they found it , was nearly 50 mins , it was nearly all labour charges , but personally it was a lot of money![]()
That is a crazy price for a small piece of plastic!!I guess it depends what you call expensive. But these are £15 ea from BMW.
It was something to do with the coolant tankCan't think why it would take 50 minutes to find a washer jets leaking?
Tony.
Indeed, but worse case scenario, if used parts are unavailable, it’s relatively inexpensive. That is a crazy price for a small piece of plastic!!
All I can say is thank goodness for our resident breakers. We would all be a lot poorer without them.
You may well be right but I was also charged £10 for the small bulb that lights up the heater controls.Btw this plastic piece is not representative of BMW prices in general. I tend to find many of the smaller parts like this to be very reasonably priced.
Indeed. Another unfortunate case. You may well be right but I was also charged £10 for the small bulb that lights up the heater controls.
Part is £11.52 from my local dealer.I don’t, but they are inexpensive from BMW. I will be looking to add a couple to my just in case parts bin.
