I can't be arsed to find a picture but a nice TR5. Always fancied a tr6 in my youth but never had one only 2 stags but now I think I prefer the 5 over the 6.

Ok the first production was a bit ropy due to the British Leyland strikes, but it stands out from the crowd these days they have, everything from a 2.0L to 5.0L engines.
Also sold more tr7 than any other Triumph.

Well maybe, but I'm not saying it was a bad car
it was just not like any of its predecessors, certainly a car of its time, but much more BL than Triumph inspired. ............................. OK off the fence, I think it was a BAD car

My first car Audi Coupe Quattro. Absolute beast and loved it, when the gearbox started to play up, it had to go.
BMW M1 pro car, yes they actually made a few road legal ones of these. Amazing cars.
Then I am afraid it just has to be a Z8. Just love the lines of this car and boy with the driving the fuel bill might be a bit on the large side.

Yes, must say I like the Z8. There was a low mileage one for sale at Sytners, Nottingham earlier this year. Looked gorgeous!

They are nice if you have the odd 200k + lying around
as much as all this old stuff would be great fun and rare i cant help but think in the dawn of the modern car they will be a nightmare to drive and feel pretty antiquated now.

But the Thread is about a classic/25 year plus car. It's pretty obvious a modern car will out perform older cars.
