Just driven from Swindon to Swansea. Absolutely awful until I got to J35 of the M4. The 3 Series was horribly twitchy I did 30-40 all the way - as did everyone else. Only 1 idiot and that was a foreign artic driver. It was eerily quiet anyway.
Got to Swansea and 2 degrees warmer and no snow!

I know we are not as bad as some poor people but still a pain.

Not snowed in but decided I didn’t need to add to traffic today, so, I worked from home instead.
A couple of walks with dog squeezed into the day.
Freezing this morning but that bitter easterly wind has subsided a bit this evening.

My other half would need CPR if either of her dogs got that close to frozen water!
Not that I would but it’s sold enough for an adult to walk on. Wouldn’t want to be a bad example would I?
The cheeky mutt did try and get out there but soon called back. Suspect a fox had been across the ice.
There’s a beach here in Swansea that has a river running across it.
When they were puppies they dived in one summer’s day. Mel panicked. I said come on they’re dogs they’ll know how to swim even if they’ve never done it before.
She went in fully clothed up to her waist to chase after them.
They got to the other side and just stood there looking at her like she was daft.
Suffice to say she’d throw herself under a bus to save those dogs. Actually she’d probably throw me under a bus first.

Never seen any animal that can't swim. They never scare themselves to be afraid of water like humans do.

Because they can't see the edge of the road. When the front wheel hits soft verge it collapses and drags the truck into the dyke.
