Only be a Geordie if he was wearing a tee shirt with the shorts. If he had a jacket on was definitely from down south, like Middlesborough.
We moved to north east from the Midlands 30 years ago and were amazed at the winter dress code of young people. Lads in tee shirts and girls in short mini dresses waiting at bus stop and its snowing, not a coat in sight. We had thick coats, scarve, hats and gloves.

Wise choice.I have been more than a little concerned Ian.. Took almost as lo g as it did to cross the Atlantic. Glad I didn't go to Rugby this morning ansmd I wasn't alone. Re booked for 16th.
