KLM FLIGHTS HALTED IN AMSTERDAM AS AIRLINE FACES POWER CUT
A power outage affecting Dutch airline KLM forced the airline to halt all flights from Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport. The electricity cut had a challenging impact on multiple KLM systems.

Seen a few drivers this evening who had far exceeded their driving skills and capabilities of their cars. Before long I’d expect the weather to let them know.
 
Works been quiet the last few days .Sheffield worse today than yesterday. But no accidents of injuries so it's been a good day and everyone finished early.
It is the wind chill and the wind is howling through like last night.
Think it may be the worse of it for us but the bottom end of the country looks like it may need to brace it's self:cool:
 
Things are grinding to halt, got friends that are stuck all around the bay. News is saying we've not seen the worst yet, the wind is really whipping up now!

Looks like my backyard:) it's a good job I'm on enforced holiday(didn't use all last years) as I have no excuse not to get to work!! It's only five minutes down the road;)
 
Saw a good few in Lincoln today. Students ............................... Also an ECP parts delivery driver rocked up in shorts ............ hmmmmmmm. Not right sharp if you ask me.:wideyed:

Don't know exactly how cold it is but we've only got one working tap on the yard at the moment, all the water-troughs frozen solid, can't even use the washing machine, and yet there's someone in shorts shopping in town. Obviously well hard.

Out at a meeting last night. A guy turns up wearing shorts. He is a PE teacher so I suppose its a plausible reason. But, should we be worried? :eek:
I don't recall ever seeing any of ours at schools not wearing a tracksuit in winter while all us kids froze doing sport outside.

He, was definitely a he mate. Our Gym teacher at QEGS Gainsborough, first name Gerald, but commonly known as Chesty, as long as he wasn't in hearing distance. Now, Chesty Morgan was something totally different .............................. ;)
