No good being in the right place at the right time without a camera though. This was an iPhone shot.

I'd heard it as 'any camera is better than no camera', same sentiment though
My poor mum is stuck in because the snow is 4 foot and she can't get out

It snowed here all night again
So it's really thick snow on the ground
Wish it would melt away
A warm + 2* here snow is melting fast. Bring on spring
We've had another 1/2 inch or so. I've had enough now, it can go do one!
Our weather is meant to be warming up next week
So all the snow will be gone

Am sure the main roads should be fine by tonight after a day of use and gritting.I’m not looking forward to driving home in this from work tonight
It will be frozen ice by then on the roads
We had 4" snow over night and the main roads are already all but clear of snow and slush.

Snow on ice: Yesturday we had freezing rain / ice storm. Made roads into ice rinks. It then snowed for a few hours in the afternoon.
The drive home was fun, enjoyed it lots as no one else was on the road
