Myself, @jue1, @Mint and @Mrs Mint got caught at the lights outside the travellers rest about 10.45. Saw Mac Romans polishing and maybe dobbo? I did sound my horn, was in a silver saab with the mints in a grey Z4 behind. Great pics above thanks.
I saw you too, just time for a quick wave as the lights changed. Looks like you all had a great time.:)

Very well done Sarah @Girls.love.bmws.2 , you did us all proud, excellent day. Glad Travellers turned out to be a good venue.

Great stuff Dave @Gizmozed , look after that motor it's a beaut.

Couldn't have been much more of a coincidence you breaking down where you did @lisa sinden . I hope not making the Snake Pass part of the trip didn't spoil your day too much. Glad you could tag along with us.

Now Ive had a chance to breath, catch up on sleep and feed myself, think its time I did a little write up.
All I can say is AWESOME ! What a lovely group of guys and girls, lovely cars, 2 convoys that stayed together, beautiful views, great photo ops, especially at Blue John Cavern and then finally at the Travellers.
Figures were 24 in attendance, 22 cars at any one time.
Again, massive thanks to Nigel Marsh, Dealer Principle of Sytner Sheffield who sent a very generous £200 voucher and the little surprise i8 with Malcolm and his good lady who judged our SNS. As always the supportive Peter Thorpe from Autotech Performance of Telford (the roof motor expert!) who provided us with the Autoglym kit http://www.autotechperformance.co.uk/ Trophy supplied by me from Onyx Trohies in Lincoln.
The whole day could not have been a success without all of you coming, so thanks goes to you too. To my Seb for supporting me and leading group 2 (not as well as me tho:whistle:)
Well done to Dave winner of the Show n Shine, well deserved there and Paul who was also a very deserving runner up.
My pick of the day would have been both Macca and @Googy. Disappointed there were no pretty red Z4s there, I may be on the look out for a red E89 next year with mine going up for sale after Santa Pod.

A lot have asked will there be another? I don't see why not. Some tweaks & changes Id like to make, so stay tuned on the forums and Facebook group. If anything it will be 3rd weekend in July, so pencil that date in for 2016.

Well done Sarah & Seb, from what I've seen and heard you put on an excellent event. Certainly would have liked to be there, but will do my best to make the next one...

Just wanted to say thank you to Sarah and Seb for brilliantly organising this cruise/meet. It was the first we have been to since joining the forum earlier this year and we enjoyed being amongst fellow Z owners and loved the short drive as part of a group, made a nice change from being out on our own.:coolsteer). Congrats to the show and shine winners, well deserved...i thought i kept my car clean till i saw all the others .Appologies if me and Sara seemed a bit quiet,we both felt under the weather, suspected food poisoning from a dodgey pizza on Saturday we think. Looking forward to the other events we're hopefully going to :).

Looks like you set a great day up Sarah. I hope their not expecting an i8, trophies and a show and shine on my cruise next month! They'll be lucky if they get rain out of me!
If you run one next year myself and @jue1 would be up for a day out. Couldn't make this year as was out with the Mints setting up our cruise. Congratulations on what was obviously a well organised day.:mad:
