Hi Tony, nice to hear from you Mate - I trust you and the good lady are well.

Hope you can make the Derbyshire meet, should be a good day if we get the weather. I am planning to meet up with Colin (Chipper) for a run down to Derbyshire on the Sunday morning, should be fun. If you cant make this one, we are going down to the Shepshed Mill meet in August, hope to see you there.

Be nice to arrange another local meet too - we enjoyed the Gainsborough pub gathering last year.

Just fitted her with some new BBS wheels after reading the horror stories about the 296's .....

We were out that way yesterday. What a relief to get away from Sheffield roads. I use the term 'roads', more accurate would be craters, pot-holes, 'speed-bumps' etc. Disgraceful. It's a testament to the quality of build of the Z3 that all the parts of it seem to be present and intact!
 
Early stages of a plan here to travel over a little later, meet up with the rest at the east side of The Snake, grab lunch and travel back later with anyone heading for the M1.

I've arranged to meet @Gizmozed at Meadowhall retail park for a coffee at McD's (he says he wants Mc'Muffin too but I've told him I'm married and not into that sort of stuff, well not anymore!!). Right now, I'm thinking 11.30 to meet, hitting the road at 12.00.

I chose The Travellers Rest pub for lunch and meeting place as I know it has a good sized car park and reasonable food, It's in Hope, the place we're all living in!!!

For anyone wanting a bit of a cruise back towards the M1, probably the highlighted route on the link below will be the best.

Anyone else wishing to meet up at any point - you would be very welcome. Also open to any suggestions/alterations.
 
Bugger, there goes my sausage & egg McMuffin - they stop serving them at 10:30 :)

Route looks good to me Colin although I will probably leave you at Fox House to go via Holmesfield/Dronfield on the way home. Not sure how this fits with Sarah's planned route but hopefully we will get to meet up with some of the nice folks (and Zed's) on her cruise at some stage.

Looking forward to it.

Unfortunately not, I can't be away from home until 11.15 (at the earliest) that day.

Please don't think I'm trying to Hi-jack your meet, just trying to add to it, hence the 'tentative' suggestions. Had you planned a route back from Ladybower? If so, apologies, I hadn't seen it.

Nothing set in stone.
 
Wonder if we can all meet at the Travellers as our food stop, I didn't think the car park was big enough, what do you think? Id looked at 'The Grouse Inn', nice big car park. In early stages of route planning here, keep me posted @Chipper3.

@Chipper3 , @Gizmozed , this looks ok to me , i can drop down and meet you guys on the 57 at the end of Rivelin Valley Rd as that is 5 mins from me , if thats ok ?
Travellers Rest is a good size car park and if i am not mistaken has staged classic car and bike shows , so it should be big enough.

Excellent.

Sarah @Girls.love.bmws.2 is looking at this too as a lunch possibility (along with some other options).

Either way we'll travel over there together and meet up with the rest at the final choice.
