Should be fitted by now the
@Dino D
That was the plan but after spending too much time reading Z forums I believe that if I want to fit it properly I’d need to:
Wash and clay car
Wash again and polish and wax to seal it
Set up air tight carcoon workshop
Layout tools in correct order and clean trim removal tool
Break out surgical gloves and carefully heat insulation tape that hold old item in place
Then carefully remove using trim removal tool
Using a very expensive cleaner clean any residue from tape and surrounding area
Then carefully adjust and install new item.
Oh almost forgot- before that break out the earbuds and clean the little bulb holder thoroughly (thanks for the inspiration
@Andy autoglym man!)
Test wiring with multimeter.
Re-wax the area.
Then remove carcoon, pack away tools.
I thinks I’ll really need to wait till summer to do it just right just to avoid any condensation problems.
What do you reckon?
The offending item as it stands
Which reminds me that my fog light mesh grill has departed - bumper off job - could take me the whole summer...
