Hello all
just bought a Z3 2.8 pre-facelift. a bit high mileage and not concours, but reasonably tidy and sound and fsh.
I'm based in Lowestoft on the Norfolk/Suffolk border.
First driving lesson was in an E12 520 - 6
Spent 3 years working in 2 different independent BMW specialists in late 80's. Always wanted an E30 M3 but not much chance of that!
E34 with a M20 2.5 as a family car some years back which served us very well, especially when being T-boned by a prize tw#t jumping a junction.
Very nearly bought a Z3M 6 years ago, but a car accident in a boring and stationary Peugeot put paid to that idea and started 12 month battle to stay out of a wheelchair, and keeping business alive.
Current Z3 was bought unintentionally, spotted it in a local classic car dealers but didn't even know if it was for sale. Went in and asked if I could sit in it for ten minutes just to see if I could actually get in and out of one! One hour and a 15 mile road test later....... here we are.
