Today i decided to buy a new cross trainer with more programs and higher resistance.

Tried it on the highest setting and could hardly move the bloody thing =))
 
Very nice mate. What resistance do you normally work at?
 
Dont really know Dave as ours was only a wired resistance and was quite old so the one i have bought has a resistance up to 15 and 9 built in programs i can go online and down load more plus the resistance is done electronically not manual. So now i am able to do all sorts of various work outs with it
 
I've just done 5km in 32 minutes on the treadmill and Jue just done 3.5km in 30 minutes on level 4. Not bad considering neither of us could get upstairs with puffing 6 weeks ago. :)

I have just tried out the new cross trainer on a program and could only manage 20 mins. Completely different to the old one. Started at level 3 then 6 then it jumps to 9 then 12.
Found 3 was very weak so i upt it to 6 should of left it at 3
Now i know i need to start on level 0 =))
But i sweated more in that 20 mins than i used to in 40 mins on the old one and the new one still recorded me burning 200 cals
 
You'll get used to it mate. The one Jue uses at the gym is hard work. I've had a go and prefer the treadmill.

I agree. Very gay trainers haha ;) (I have similar ones) :'( hah
 
Nice work guys and Jue!! I'll think of you tomorrow as I sit exercising my arms and pouring a few Guinness' down my throat! Then I'll excercise going back and forth to the WC which causes a thirst and I'll start the cycle all over again, JIM
 
Just a quick update on my weight loss goal. Today i weighed myself and hit my second target which is to get to 12st 7lb This now means i have lost 1st 7lb in the last 3 months of starting down the fitness and eating better route. The last time i weighed 12st 7lb was 10 years ago Next target is 12st dead (which i probably will be) =))
@Grumpy Dave how is yours going hope you are achieving what you want too
