Top work mate keep it up.
To be honest Dave i am quite enjoying it. Getting off all sweaty with a big sense of achievement. Afterwards i have a nice relaxing sit down and drink a litre of water until everything feels it is back to normal. Then shower. I have to admit i feel a whole lot better than i did 6 months ago
 
Just done another work out on the cross-trainer to make sure yesterdays 10k was not a fluke. Even bettered my time of 39.42.
Managed to do 10k in 39.17 so happy with the way things are going.

Do you reckon Jue will be ok on the cross trainer? She's had to give running as she's torn a ligament in her ankle.
 
The cross trainer is completly different to running as your feet never leave the peddles. If she can ride a bike then the cross trainer will be easy
 
She's fine on the bike but doesn't enjoy it so hopefully she'll be ok then. We're going to try it tomo.
 
Weighed myself this morning and yipee. Have broke the 13st barrier. Now weigh 12st 13 1/2lb only another stone to go
 
Just done the same Bill. Started out at 15-10 and just weighed in at 15-04 after 3 weeks at it. :)
You should break the 15st barrier by the end of next week then. It always seems to take longer for the first few lbs to come off
 
I hope so mate. 0.4 of a lb shouldn't be to much of a strain. Like to be at 14 and half in a month or so.

Moral is .... to loose weight visit yr local Toby or Crown Carvery more often:D
Had a Toby Wednesday mate while away with work. Was bloody good I must admit. Better than going to mcd's or Kentucky fried cat etc. At least I had plenty of veg.

They wont help mate. Full of sh*** calories. I used to eat them during the day as was the only things readily available. Now i just grab a sandwich or salad if i am away and have a proper meal at night
 
I'm off sandwiches completely. One of the worst things going. Jack came back with a Tesco pre-made wrap the other day. 791 calories! I don't have that in a full evening meal now.
 
Macdees 5 chicken select meal has around 1000 cals
 
Tbh we have a carvery out every week but take the healthier option .meat selection and loads a veg .no taters no yorky pud.
Yesterday i had a yorky on mi plate but left it.
And the pint of guiness was for a healthy balanced diet:whistle:
 
Another session on the cross trainer today. Another 10k sub 40 minutes so that is the last 3 10k work outs sub 40 minutes. Managed to do 39.12 so now aiming for sub 39 minutes.
 
Well done mate. I'm having a day off today. Back to it tomorrow.
