Have been busy today, took out centre consul took it apart and put new leather side pieces on and carbon fibre look wrap on the faces. Also changed gear stick and handbrake leather covers to look the same with a red stitch on it. Also splashed out on the stainless rings for heater controls. Doors and Dashboard top’s will be done in same leather and red stitch.

I have to say the leather side parts were easier than putting on the wrap. The part with heater controls clock and switch blank plates were horrible to do because of the recessed area. Hair dry and some cursing.

That leather....droooool!!
It certainly is Italian leather, you can purchase all the various pieces on eBay from a company in New Malden. I’ve purchased so far the gear stick and hand brake boots and the 2 pieces that are on the side of consul. Just put in red or blue stitched leather for BMW Z3 and it will all come up on there. Just got to fit it your self. As I said I’m hoping to get the rest door cards are next then dash tops.
Have a look it’s quite good.
