Seriously, I use it to open the bonnet at the moment, there's a loop of cable under the wheel arch that I need to pull, the large handle of the hammer helps ;-)
So, can anyone tell me which kind of bulbs do I need to replace the beam ones? I /could disassemble the lot again to check, but you know, it'd be nice to only have to do it ... once 
Today I changed the bushings for the driver seat. Tuns out it was not fully rotten, it was more one side than the others (the 'window' side) -- I wonder if they had been changed before really.
It was pretty straightforward, apart that 1) these bushings from the forum needs about 6 hours of sanding. THAT was the most harduous bit of the job.
2) I managed to install the threads 'inverted' just because I trusted the L on one of them.... result was that the seat was moving forward when pushing the button BACK. Doh. Had to pull it out, revert the threads, re-install.
Anyway, test drive, and no more rocking. W00t. The underneath, carpets etc all look in pretty good shape too!
Oh, also lubricated the rail -- what a difference that makes! the motor now is butter smooth, no more noise!

If you had inverted a belt sander or disc sander you could have done the job in no time, just don't go too far when you get close to fitting tight!! Hope this helps the next member to tackle this job. JIM

Ok so next I suppose I'll have to get under the car. I'm planning to change the transmission oil, and change the rear shock mounts, and also the rear shocks since I'm there anyway.
Suggestions for mounts + shocks? On ebay there's dozen, from 'OEM', 'Miele', 'Upgraded' or super expensive blue Poly ones. What about shocks? Suggestions on what to buy there?
For oils, I think google returns enough data to buy the lot, so that's good; http://www.zroadster.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=37069 -- however I'll have to buy new plugs/seals as it's suggested after all that time...

So, haven't stalled, but I have a few bits on order. I bought some clear rear light assemblies, 'new' badges, 'new' fogs and a few bits and bobs.
Also decided that the engine mounts were probably higher on the priority than the read shocks. Lots of googling let me to beleive the 'clunck' I get when accelerating and braking is likely the engine mount -- these were marked as 'perished' on the service..
Also. I ordered all kind of other bits, like ramps and so on. Soon, no more procrastinating, I WILL have to get dirty

I always buy Meyle HD or lemforder bushings etc
Ok so bear with me, it's the first time EVER that I crawl seriously under a car. So, achievement unlocked here ;-)
Put the car on the (new) ramps to have a proper look underneath, and try to take pics of the stuff that seems to matter. Ie, take stock.
To my untrained eye, it doesn't look too bad at all ! Given the pics I've seen of the Zedshed z3s and others online, this one does hafve some corrosion, now nowhere near as bad! The diff is a bit ugly, but the rubbers around don't seem completely rotten either.
So the experts, anything 'jumps' at you from these few pics? I left the car there, so i can do more pics if anyone has any ideas...
(First gear, handbrake, rubber stoppers on -- is that 'enough' safety here?)

Some wire brushes and "Aquasteel" will make it look alright. Looked just like yours.

In other news, I jacked up the front of the car and spun the wheels, and yes, the driver side is sticky. That's annoying as the calipers look brand new or newly refurbed! I suspected there was something I have a rubbing noise on some occasions (not all the time tho, and depends on the day!)...
So that's caliper treatment to be added to the list!

Agree go I went LED all round, really lifts the car and makes it look more modern (only my opinion) @5harp3y does LED indicator relays so you can fit LED indicator bulbs, a great mod IMO.

The anti roll bar drop link bushes look to be on there way but it's very tidy
Looks pretty clean under there, You can spot the diff bush starting to delaminate and the handbrake cables splitting in the holder.
