Can only assume the ECU was pumping more fuel to compensate for a weak spark at the plug. Guess it was also advancing ignition massively to compensate for the slow fuel burn. Begs the question as to why it happens regularly on those engines.
Yeah, I think it's attributed to the runs she gets, all short trips. That said, the Galaxy and Freelander never had such an issueAnd you might think that Skoda would've adjusted the plug change interval by now.
