So last week, was nice and sunny but freezing so of course dashed off to office after an appointment with the roof down.

Saw this great big van on the road with a camera sign and thought ‘if I’d known there were doing ‘roller’pics id have washed it for @Rally ‘s rolling pics thread.

Anyway, as you can see, on cue just at the camera sign, the photographer snapped a pic. He has very good camera as it’s crystal clear but I’d have been happier if he got a side on shot with the wheels..anyhow he sent me the digital image free so can’t complain too much..

Now the biggest problem with this pic is that I’ve noticed exhaust has gone skew...again, it’s always twisted itself this way, drives me mad.

Do you reckon it’s skew in this pic?

Ideas on a post card please.

Yes mate it is, but, you could have got this info without going such expense :(

Tony.

ps. I couldn't afford a post card;)

Looks it by a tad though is the right pipe smaller than the left pipe? Mine is, this would magnify the issue. Nice to see others doing 'Spotted, Give 'em a Wave' ;)

Mines the same !!! ( it was like it when I bought the car)
It’s not causing any problems, ie not hitting the bodywork, but it just looks wrong.

You would think the easy solution is that you could undo the U bolt on the pipe connection just before the rear box and twist it a bit back into line....no!.....even with the bolt removed, can’t move it. ( I tried this when the car was up on a ramp not long after I got it)

I think I will probably end up undoing the two spring loaded bolts and take off the whole rear section (to make it easier to work on) and separate the joint.
Then it can be reassembled so it straight.

......but not at the moment , too cold and damp to work out in the garage.

I did one of them, no photography Pete.

Tony.

Photographer has top skills.

He's copped your retina recognition and side on face profile all in the one shot.

Impressive stuff, most excellent

(Yes, your pipe's are wonky)

Nice to see that they have date and timed stamped it for posterity.

Is it me or is there a bit of camber on the rear wheels.

Good photo but you could have washed it first.
If only I’d known he’d be there...

It’s a spot I know well and saw the van a mile off. I glanced down to check I was at the 40 limit and carried on so very surprised to have gotten this actually as I’m quite certain I was at 40indicated but the camera never lies and all that...

Now that’s disappointing...this was 46 in 40 zone.

I see the course is 3-4hrs, seems pretty long, let’s see if I’ll be offered it..

The only other time I got point was in this very Z when I just got it. Roof down in winter again, entered Limehouse tunnel in London with a loud Harley next me and got done for 34 in a 30 I think.

It’s not a bad shot I agree, from 135meters away too it seems!

Wonky pipe noted...

I’m just going to get it into a proper exhaust place as I and others have fiddled with it, new rubbers etc but it just does this after a while.

The only problem with going to an exhaust place is my logic demands the ‘whilst I’m there’ what else can be done...sports cats anyone, equal length headers £££

The heat shield on he cat does rattle sometimes so could do with a spot weld anyway.

When I took it in to the local National Tyre and Exhaust in Bognor and explained the problem.....I was told they don’t do work on stainless steel exhausts!!

As there is no way I would take it into Half-wits or Kwik- bodge, I will have to get the car up and sort it myself....when it’s warmer.
