Six Nations 2018

19:12
France 6-12 Ireland

Tony Ward

Former Ireland and Lions fly-half on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

The last few minutes have been really poor from an Irish perspective.

The crowd are reacting to that and French confidence is growing. This game has some way to go yet.

Summary
  1. Latest score: France 13-12 Ireland
  2. Thomas try, Machenaud 2 pens, Belleau con Fra
  3. Sexton 4 pens Ire

2 nervous matches again big guys running into each other.

Six Nations: Italy 15-46 England

England started and finished in style as they overcame a spirited Italy to begin their Six Nations title defence with a seven-try romp.

Tries: Watson 2, Farrell, Simmonds 2, Ford, Nowell Cons: Farrell 4 Pen: Farrell

But .... It was against Italy .. ;)

They are not the push over they used to be mate.

Roll on Saturday, Wales were a different team on Saturday, lets hope that we can hold it together, anyone that knows Rugby can see that for the first time in years Wales have found themselves (well they did on Saturday), time will tell, if they play like they have Wales have a good chance of winning it this year, England are favourites, but this could all change on Saturday. Oh and I like it when people have to eat their words...You Know who You Are:whistle:

England's Play for the best part of the Game was mundane, Italy put them under pressure and it showed, the score did not reflect the game, Again Italy run out of steam as usual in the last 15 minutes, and England capitalised on this scoring three tries in the last 15 minutes.

Hate to say it (ouch, just pinched myself) I rate Wales highly this year

Gives us hope on Saturday, England are still a great team but I think we are more focused on the game this year, a lot of new players in the team that have come through and they proved themselves on Saturday, still going to be a massive task for us but looking forward to it, I think whoever wins on Saturday will go through to win the lot.
