Title permutations

These are those title permutations set down and spelt out. This will be on the test.

  • If England beat Scotland on Saturday they will retain the title
  • Victory for Scotland could send them top of the table with a game to play
  • If France beat Italy and England lose, mathematically five teams would still be in with a shout
  • There is one final round of games after Saturday's matches

That win lifts France into third for the time being at least. A Scotland win at Twickenham would make life interesting.

The Six Nations title, the Calcutta Cup and the Triple Crown are all on offer in just one match.

England have been lucky, they said. England haven't clicked yet, they said. Now they have.

England score 30 points or more in the first half of a Five/Six Nations game for the sixth time, and the first time since 2011.

Good win by England but it was a walkover....
Got boring to be honest to watch in the 2nd half.

  2. Russell scores opening try in 28th minute
  3. France v Wales starts at 14:45 - live on BBC One and 5 live sports extra
  4. Ireland v England at 17:00 - Radio 5 live as England chase a Grand Slam
 
Not unexpected win for Scotland 29-0 .....

Scotland won a third Six Nations match in the same campaign for the first time since 2006 to send departing coach Vern Cotter out on a high at Murrayfield.
