To play better than the norm and lose (France) is one thing, to play below par and win (England) is something else.
For the first game in the competition, I know where I would prefer to be.
PS, really can't see a need for the bonus points in the competition, why?

Agreed,I guess it is to promote try scoring and not giving up if you are behind, although having said that, both points are fundamental principles of the game!
Agree just don't get it. Not even sure what bonus points are awarded for, must do some research or perhaps improve my listening skills!
An exciting Scotland Ireland game really enjoyed that match.
French team looked better to me and still managed to loose by lack of discipline, a bit of luck on our side and a well timed substitution to add a bit of beef up front for that try. Can only get better

Nice to see though just hope they don't roll over as usual. I'm hoping the rest of the game is enjoyable.

Wales will be waiting on their medical staff for some important updates this evening.
As well as Dan Biggar - switched at half-time after copping a blow to the ribs - George North looked like he did some damage to his dicky hamstring in running in that third try and Alun Wyn Jones's shoulder was also a problem.

Got the impression that Italy set out to score first at all cost expecting a win would follow. Wales were patient and eventually ran out deserved winners.
