Is it just me, or have the media gone more bonkers than usual with their hysterical rantings that the lockdown will last 6 months? I listened to the press briefing that day and Jenny Harries clearly said that the situation will be reviewed every three weeks and decisions made at that time, but that it may take up to six months for things to be fully back to normal. Now to me, that outlined the likelihood of a phased return to normality as it becomes safe to do so, in the same way that the Chinese are slowly unlocking Wuhan. I'm all for the free press, but I'd like it to be accompanied by a little bit of intelligence. Mind you, I guess intelligence and responsibility don't sell newspapers......
What with all the Brexit shouting having died down, and Megxit pretty much sorted, they've got to get excited about something.
