is the check engine light supposed to come on with the other lights when i switch the ignition on? i noticed recently that mine dont, when i brought the car someone had removed the airbag bulb, then after they realized there is also an led in there too they stuffed the hole full of paper (easily rectified, i found both seats were unplugged so i plugged them back in and i reset the airbag light) . today i had the cluster out to check the engine bulb and hey - no bulb in the check engine hole. i inserted a new bulb but still nothing, i tried 4 different bulbs and still nothing, though i did originaly inset it into the wrong place and got a gear symbol.
