Silverstone - F1 spectators advised to stay at home...

In my opinion,Siverstone should be far more honest to there visitors under what was totaly unfit parking areas at least a week or more before the GP but when people are paying £100+ for the day they over looked the fact that is was unfit to get in never mind out!,and Zfest will be no differant,to hear first hand just how bad it is now, theres no way anyone will risk getting there pride and joy subjected to what he described as a flooded farm yard with a lot extra sh-t,and if it rains, you ,me and many others will be well and truely in IT! So Siverstone should advise us of the true conditions in the track and not just count the money recived in advance, when they know!!!

Some of the Z4 lads got held up last night at Silverstone on their way home from a northern meet, and that was 9pm, the roads were filthy and clogged with traffic trying to get out of the track car parks :(

Anns son in law was still stuck in mud till 1030pm,he was talking to car park lads who said there employers ie silverstone told them last week that mini bus will pick them up for work every day last week because there parking area was unfit for there own cars and they where totaly water logged like the rest of the grass areas, they knew on wed this week that it was a no go on 90% of the parks.

Darn all this bad weather, seems to have been miserable all this year so far :( I'm fed up with it, and I know an awful lot of you are as frustrated as I am with it. However, we do still have 11 days before the big day and I'm sure the sun will pull it's finger out and save the day.

These are worrying stories we are hearing, and I bet that the Car Club are keeping a close eye on these events.
