I am a member and if you like what you see and think it worth it you can join which then means that when we/BMW Car Club are talking to BMW and dealerships etc we can present a good case for sponsorship and that sort of thing and getting good numbers together for big events but at the end of the day we are all just a group of people that want to get together at events and enjoy our cars! even the small events get the knock on benefits from the big ones.

The historic racing at Silverstone is great, my particular interest is getting up close and personal to the cars in the pits!

Is it worthwhile starting a specific Zed Fest thread so people can start putting their names down?
 
not sure this year it may be that this thread will do unless we want to have the first two posts reserved for details and followup? so that new people can look at the first few posts for details then jump to the end.

I guess the answer is yes but what do I call it to differentiate it from this thread subject? and not confuse things?

In the past I ran the thread because I was into organising our representation but as I will not be co-ordinating Zroadster.org this year do we need someone to step up and co-ordinate Zroadster.org or do we leave it? in all I guess it is up to the Zorg membership to say what they want that can be worked in with the BMW CC GB agenda. (remember I am co-ordinating BMWCC GB and trying to get each of the booking codes to nominate someone as the co-ordinator for that code under the BJMWCC GB banner) It can't be you @GazHyde due to the fact that you are co-ordinating your Z4 Register we do not yet have a Z3 C-ordinator nor the Other Z4 Register co-ordinator)

I know this sound confusing but it actually isn't.

People let me know what you think. and if anyone is up for a co-ordinating please let me know and we can talk about what we are going to need it should not be onerous honest! that is why we are looking for co-ordinators to spread the workload.

Be a Devil and become a member it's great fun, and lots of local Z3 in your area. As the weather worms up !! I've been informed it will :)
We will all be arranged local evens for everyone to join in.

Ps Silverstone is a must, you will be enthralled by this annual event and everything that takes place over the 3 days. I can assure you that you will want to return every year (just like myself) It's a fabulous event for some many like minded Z3 owners like everyone on the forum and yourself.

Hi swamper, I have it confirmed by the Bmwcc that the holiday inn express is the hotel for us, I have already reserved for me and Linda.

Just a question. I have booked now for the Holiday Inn Express and when I done the booking I was told that my card wouldn't be charged until the day, but checking my account
they have taken payment straight away. I rang to check and have been told that this will be the case as we have a non refundable low rate! Have anyone else booked yet and
have you found this to be the case with your payment?
 
Where are most people staying this year the holiday express, are there any discounts there been put in, as yet I haven't booked silverstone been waiting for a thread to start about how to book re codes etc

Now booked Saturday at silverstone
Will book hotel for Friday and Saturday tomorrow
I assume I just ask for discount for the z3 club ?

I hope we are not all spread everywhere as that's the fun, meeting up with other members on the day
 
Will be going to Silverstone and look forward to meeting the faces behind the names on Zorg. Will be staying in the Novotel, Milton Keynes, not the H.I.E. on J15. Why? Check the regular price two weeks before or a week after Silverstone! I don't like it when businesses try to take the p*55. Anybody else staying at our place?

Not sure at the moment, but you should pop down and meet up with us in the evening. Oh, and hopefully there will be the usual convoy on the Saturday morning to the circuit...

I think it was exceptionally optimistic - even for Duncan's skills - to keep 75 cars all together... :wacky:

I got lost at the first roundabout 2 mins from the holiday inn lol
I did have fun catching up, that's the fun in owning an ///M
What a great day we had at Silverstone

We will be travelling down on Saturday morning and could use the M1.
Do you know what time the convoy will leave the hotel? or is that something that will get posted later.
 
saturday and sunday booked....just need to do the hotel ....i love it when we start the run up to it ;)
