The description says it's affixed directly to the existing (damaged) plates. I'm wondering if that really works without getting an uneven result. Has someone here already bought one of these?

I know this thread isn't up to date anymore, but I bought a set of these steel sills a couple of days ago directly from the romanian manufacturer, payed via PayPal luckily. Quality is miserable, the engraving is of poor quality, unevenly and barely visible. Would be a worsening to ever Z3.

I bought the same before Xmas: they are appalling! I got my money back. I definitely wouldn’t insult my car with such shoddy items.
