Is that non stick coating like you see in pots n pans ?

I'm familiar with this technique, we did this with copper plating on A4-80 bolts on a reactor I built.

Subframe with one arm in and fitted.

Beam bushes nice n high now
prop shaft also went in.
fuel filter was replaced, and on this rare occasion not that old.
All things being well arm will be in tomorrow and wheels down end of this week.

Fantastic job guys. Can I ask who you use for powder coating and what underseal you use? I'm in the early stages of the same job but outside in the driveway...

We take the corrosion back to bare metal and seal it in with hammerite under seal & waxoil mix. Other surfaces we clean and seal in.
Nice big update chaps. Car is now down on the ground ready for her test drive. We started her up and she sounds sweet.
Last arm we built today. We noticed we had some alignment issues. Closer inspection showed one of the brake calliper tabs had a slight bend, must of been dropped at some point. Few gentle taps and she was back.

very shortly after this we got the arm fitted along with the rest of the trays.
she’s going to drive so nice now. Full body under shots.
wheels on
inside wheel shots.
let her rest on the lowering springs. The shocks and springs need to settle.
only a few snags to sort now. Water pump and thermostat. Take her for a test drive and get the tracking done then finally the MOT.

All but the wheels are , they have done me proudThat looks a totally different car. Superb job as usual
Last few jobs done today. Test drive complete and tracking done. First job of the day was the thermostat and water pump.
First up removing the thermostat showing the water pump
Water pump then removed
Old units next to the new.
she didn’t cause me any issues all went smoothly. Next up was some fresh gearbox oil.
Followed by a nice test drive and wheel alignment.
she’s got a nice stance and handles nice, lowered on Eibach springs with HnR roll bars.
Clear dash of lights.
MOT ready for Saturday
She’s keeping good company till then.

Definitely going to stick something in the breakfast baps to slow them down……. Or tempt them down to Bognor with butties, cakes and coffees to get mine done
