Side view mirror replacement

I am replacing the passenger side sideview mirror.
The bolts were so corroded that using a screw extractor didn't work. So I drilled out the screws but the base is not budging. I can't think of anything other than the two crews holding it to the door. Has anyone got any suggestions? I am doing my best not to damage the door but I would have thought that cutting the screws with a drill would release it.

It’s just the two screws holding it on.

Both screws were so corroded that they had no heads. I drilled them out without damaging the threads in the holes. All is good.
