My mum booked us tickets to go and see Showaddywaddy :p
To tell the truth ........ :)
I wasn't really looking forward to it :(
The tickets were for last night ;)
The show started at 7.30 ;)
And believe it or not it was really good ;)
The men have so much energy ;)
It finished at 10 :)
No backing group either ;)
And only a half hour break ;)
The theatre was sold out :)
All in all it was a good night ;)

You can't beat live music. We regularly go and watch tribute bands. Glad you enjoyed it

Thank you @Jack Ratt :p
I think 2 or maybe 3 were the original people :)
They play twice a week in different places ;)
My mum has seen them a few times :)
Good evening ;)

We saw a tribute band to them a few years ago in Benidorm and they were really good but I imagine the genuine band you saw would be even better. At least they do stuff you can join in with and tell what they're singing and it's all upbeat music .......unlike most modern music.

Yes that's true @Bozzy :p
Considering I didn't really want to go :)
I must admit they were good :)
The original people were very energetic considering their age ;)
Well done to them ;)

Dave what's his name that was the front man for many years is now their manager. Don't know what the singer is like now.

There's a blast from the past! Nice one, glad you enjoyed it :)

Dave Bartram :p

The lead singer is called Andy Pelos :p
He is very good ;)
Great voice ;)

I may be a bit young to know who they are but erm, an unusual name haha

If you heard one of their songs :p
You would know who they are :)
If not ask your parents ;)

Teddy boys so fitted the image I suppose.

Think they might of had a different name when they started but not quite sure :p
And believe it or not I don't think they started of with the teddy boy imagine to begin with ;)
For some reason that's in my mind :)
I might be wrong
Chances are I am ;)
So I'm now going to google it :)
And find out :)

They were called The Hammers :p
When two groups joined together :)

Will look later about the teddy boy bit :)

They won Opportunity Knocks back in the 70's when Hughie Green was the host. They were called Showaddywaddy then so have had that name for 40 yrs, and they've always been teds.

We had tickets to see them in Newark back in the day, but my mate trashed his mini on his way home from work that night and we couldn't get there. When they first were on TV the main singer was a guy called Buddy Gask, and Dave Bartram sang backing vocals.

Tony.

Buddy gask lol! For real?? =))

That was his stage name at least Dave. He was a bit of a prima Donna though. Check out "Hey rock 'n' roll" on YouTube. He's the main singist, :)

Tony.

Back in the day my parents went to see them and waliked out saying how poor they were on that night
