Real probs getting to work yesterday, A47 impassable so went the @Bozzy road 'tween Melton and Market Harborough, very dicey with cars in the ditch and I nearly came to grief twice. Thought about stopping home today but the bahstuds make you take a days holiday. Gave it a go, A47 impassable again, bozzy road would have been impassable too but for the good fortune of a snow plough having not long gone through, met it coming back to widen the 'sweep' Quarter mile on and another snow plough on its side in the ditch!! 7 foot tall drifts. Sorry no pics as concentrating too much - so, show us your pics please :snaphappy:

Then later that night another snow pIough seen up on the main road but it looks like it has broke down also , looks like the plough has broke on the front, workers out hitting it with big hammer, also a large 4x4 trying to get up the street.

Oh dear, usual mass panic! An hour after getting to work the college decided to shut and everyone got the day off, I'm the only silly tw@t that turned up due to the distance I travel and no decision til 8a.m :mad:

We are lucky here in Cambridge, just a light dusting.

Not proper man snow, I know, but not going out again just now, too much white stuff flying around. Went out earlier thinking I'd go and do a bit of shopping but the car doesn't want to start and too windy to open boot/bonnet around here.

Fair play to you Adrian, I know how far you have to travel for work .
The road from Melton to Market Harborough must have been challenging.
