Yeah, no front plate required in my state but that's not the case in all parts of the US. It was quite a sunny day; perfect for dropping the top.

We went with no front plate for years to save the gov't millions. Then suddenly the police needed to see a front plate for some reason so we're stuck with them now!! JIM

Same here Jim. All geared towards vehicle recognition from the front not the rear.
