We used to have two black cats predictably Sooty and Sweep. Then we were joined by a stray who adopted us, Maxine said "What should we call her?" Cuckoo was decided upon as the cat was in someone else's nest. She never thought of the consequences when calling the cat in. I'm sure the neighbours thought she was 'losing it'.
