When I left work this evening I had a choice to make. It was warm but definitely overcast, so, was it a roof down night or was it not? I took a chance but there were some moments I did wonder if it was the right decision.

It was touch and go but I did get home in the dry.:)

Tony.

I got really foggy here late afternoon passed a guy on the way home driving his saab 9-3 with the roof down obviously hardcore like you Tony

=))=)) I was bricking it by the time I got home mate, and I don't mind admitting it Steve !

Tony.

ps. Still very mild even now.:)

Surely one of the advantages of 4 over 3 is the ability to raise the roof in 10 seconds with no fuss should the wet stuff make an appearance

Darn Dashcam / video lark ;)

Same here @N4LLY :p
I can't watch it either :(
But it's lovely to drive with the roof down at night :)

Agree warm evening, dark, stars out, roof down..............lovely;)

Years ago I went to collect a Renault Spider, they have no roof at all, just a temporary tent like affair that you clip on and stay under 40mph.

Of course, it rained on the way back and people were taking photos and having a good laugh, but the funniest moment was when the rain got a bit harder and I put the wipers on to clear the screen. The wiper cleared the screen and pushed the water over the top and straight into my face. Well done Renault, I couldn't help but think they'd designed it that way to get one over on the Brits who's market demanded a windscreen.

I suppose some cars designed like this aren't intended to be everyday cars. Like the ariel atom for example... But this suggests it could be an everyday car... In southern Spain maybe
