Short shifter kit for Z3 2.8

Hi everyone,

I've found surprisingly little on the forum regarding this and whether it is a worthwhile modification. I see them for sale on eBay for c. £60 and I feel like it is worth a go as the shift on the gears does feel quite long. I just wondered if anyone has had any experience and whether in their opinion it enhances the gear shifting at all or whether it is just not suited.

Any help is appreciated

I bought one as well and haven't gotten around to installing it, mostly because I am pretty sure I will also need all the plastic parts that go with it for the thing to work right.

You might get the full benefit with it by adding a weighted shifter knob at the same time.
