Short Break in the Lakes

Spent a couple of days in the Lakes last week, staying at the Inn on the Lake hotel in Glenridding at the southern tip of Ullswater. Managed to get a good deal on a short break - our room being the Bridal Suite no less! A few pics:

Superb - great lake views, very large - plenty of room to run around, very large four-poster bed, 34" flat panel TV, massive ensuite bathroom with "two person" shower! I recommend.... :-bd

Been a beautiful day today.. Sun and clear sky's!! Drove through the Yorkshire dales roof down.. Amazing roads!!

Guess where we ended up today....at the Inn on the Lake! Completely by accident; we shared the view with some paratroopers who exited in a helicopter. Will add some photos when we return!
