Hi Mark and welcome from near Lincoln. Hope you find what you're looking for, I found my Z4 last year after watching one for quite a while before taking the plunge. Where are you located?

Hi, I'm up in North Yorks between Ripon & Thirsk. Moved up from North Lincs after being on the Reds at Scampton for 5 years.
Seems you can get a lot of car for the money and the roof doesn't worry me being a techy type person
You do get a lot of car for your money Mark, no doubt about that. I'm sure you'll enjoy what ever it is that you get. Please keep us posted! The Gap-tech module for the roof opening/closing is also a good addition.

and good luck with your search. I seem to recall more 2.5s around when I was searching. The other frequent issue seems to be rear springs. Considering your background I can't see many things causing you any problems.
