It doesn't take that much to right off one of these cars nowadays, just ask @hard top, his car was in excellent nick but not worth repairing.

I was fully comp but the insurance company went mental when they found out that just a new bonnet was E.1100

Yep, it was indeed, so I did similar to the bloke in the above ad and stripped out all the extras.
