Collected the car and priced up the replacement sill covers this week - Sytner Sheffield want £50 more (£414) for the pair than Douglas Park online but offer next day collection.
The thing is due to a moment t of weakness I now have another classic fancy which I bought while waiting to get the Z3 booked in with the mechanic - it's an X reg SAAB 9-3 SE Turbo in Morello Red with only 42,000 miles.

Unfortunately I'm told keeping both is not an option so it looks like (true to form) I'll be looking to move SV02 ZZH on to its 4th owner.
Currently this is presenting me with 2 problems - how much to sell it for and how to sell it. Having been around these cars a while now I'd like to think I have a good idea of value but with this particular car I'm struggling - on the one hand it has all the ACS additions while on the other it needs the work doing regarding the bodywork.
As a result I'm thinking the best sale route would be specialist auction - I'd toyed with the idea of Facebook or eBay but have come round to the idea of using Matthewsons up in Pickering. I've been up there before and quite fancy the idea of experiencing the process first hand.
Obviously will provide an update on here once the associated details are confirmed - at least 2 of the other Z3's I've sold are still on the forum and I do enjoy following their progress

Had initial discussions with Matthewsons and started the process to get the SV02 ZZH in their auction at the end of April.
Deciding on a reserve price is difficult due to the limited number of 3.0i Sports available, the additional ACS upgrades and the relatively low mileage - when I spoke to ACS they couldn't give me a number on the Aero V8 front bumpers they supplied but just said it was a very limited run. Obviously I know the roll bars or like the proverbial rocking horse poo to source and the Type III Racing alloys were the most expensive ACS wheel's they made for the Z3.
Anyway as we always say its only worth what someone will pay so be interested to see if it attracts any attention

Wish I was in the market at the moment! As much as I don’t like any modifications, I love this car.

It's a really rare car in this spec. No doubt about it. I think this will certainly attract attention, even more so with some social media 'marketing'.

My only fear is that £6750 is a figure you could part the car out of its ACS bits, make it a z3 3.0 sport, sell it and make a few thousand quid in the process.

The market is all over the place at the moment but with spring ahead, I don't think this will take too long.

Good luck.

Like that idea - will canvas opinion on here to see if any members are interested in a swap for standard type deal

I think I'll initially list them as a package to swap with the standard sport equivalents but if that's not successful I'd be open to swapping them out as individual items
Ok but if you want to swap plus cash for the hoops alone as the other parts won’t fit my ///M give me a first refusal is that’s ok?
